Thanks for the inquiry. FYI, this issue has been building a week, since a storm passed through last Monday. Took multiple calls to Suddenlink and finally a trip to their offices here to get any action. Tech came out on Thursday and replaced a part in the Phone modem. It was at that point that the Airport Express would not connect. Contacted Best Buy Geek Squad yesterday (Sunday) and they came out today. After considerable checking with his test instrument he determined that the SL phone modem was working, but erratically. He had to target his effort to get the Airport Express to link up with the modem. Once he had it working he said that this was not uncommon with old modems. I have had the combined SL phone/internet/TV service just over a year, so I was surprised that I had an old modem. Once I get the stomach to work through SL's phone help I will inquire about getting a new modem.
