Q: iTunes won't open at all.

I am using my brothers laptop, and every time I try to use iTunes, it never opens up correctly, it just says: "iTunes has stopped working", and when I try to re install it, the exact same thing happens, the computer I am using is a windows vista operating system, and my iPod touch 4g is on iOS 5.1.1, please help me.
