Q: My iphone 4S has been working but it has just stopped reading the sim card. I am getting a notification of SOS only and NO SIM ?? I have cleaned the sim card and also switched the phone off and on again, still same problem

My iphone 4S has been working but it has just stopped reading the sim card.  I am getting a notification of SOS only and NO SIM

I have removed the sim card and cleaned it and also switched the pone off and on again, still same problem

    1. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

    2. Get new SIM card.

     

    If this happened just after updating or restoring the phone, your phone may have been hacked to carrier unlock it and became re-locked to its origninal carrier and will no longer work with your SIM.
