Background render stuck at 0% memory/cache file full on start up disk error message. Activity monitor indicates that there is little to no memery available. entire system is sluggish. HELP

Shutdown and restart your computer.
Then open only absolutely essential apps.
What computer? How big is the system drive? How much space is on it? Do you have a separate drive?
