Q: i-tunes will not update. it just opens up a new windows page as if i am a new apple customer

my computer will not update the latest version of i-tunes. windows opens up a new page for i-tunes.

I dont get the usual panel with the choice of safari or quick time etc.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

I tunes knows who i am, it syncs my i-pod and i can still buy music.

no new version of i-tunes will load.
