The same way they would normally, assuming the iOS device isn't one listed as requiring Mac OS X 10.5 or newer or iTunes 10 or newer.

i got the ipad 1 and ipod touch 4g. Where can i get that version? can you get download link or links?
Both of those were originally listed as requiring Mac OS X 10.5.8 or newer.

ok. i got an extra computer, i got an windows 7 computer.
I am having the same problems. Feels like I will have to buy a new laptop !!!
You can sync your iPad and iPod Touch on Windows 7 with iTunes 10. You would have to update your software on your mac to be able to update iTunes from 9 to 10. The same thing happened to me with my iMac when I had 10.4.11 when I was trying to sync my new iPod Nano.
