Did extended hardware test......got this error 4MOT/4/4oooooo3:HDD-1211
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.5)
Apple does not publish their error codes, however the HDD indicates it's a hard disk related error. It could be the drive, a fan sensor, a HD fan, etc... Before you do ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING backup and then take the machine in for service immediately.

Did you ever get this fixed? What was it & how much was the Repair? I have the same error code.
I know this is an old Post but if you could take the time to reply, it would be much appreciated.
