Q: iTunes store only gives me options to purchase books and apps not music.

I used to just go into itunes, select "store" and get to the music store.  Since I started accessing the store through my iphone, I now cannot see the music store any more.  I only have access to the apps store, book store and U.  How do I get back my music store?

Where in the world are you trying to access the Store?  There are many countries where songs are not available.

Hi.  I am accessing the store from the UK.  I have been using the music store since many years.  I think, between an itunes upgrade and my starting to use the iphone, I mist have some kind of setting preventing me to see the music.  Under the menu of Itunes>Preferences>Store, under automatic downloads I only have two options visible: apps and books.

You certainly should have music available.  On the main itunes Store page, scroll down to the bottom and check that the UK flag is showing at the bottom right corner.  If it's some other flag, click the flag and change it to the UK.  Then, you'll have to sign-in again to the store.

If that's not your problem, download iTunes again from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1426

After downloading, open the .dmg file and install iTunes right over your current installation.  There's no need to delete anything.
