I have migrated from Microsoft to Apple and need to know how to find my printer drivers. I downloaded new driver for Mac OS from Brothers website, but can't find my printer anywhere. It said the download completed by no where to be found. Please help.

where have you looked? In the downloads folder, correct?
The download driver pkg did appear in download folder, I clicked on the correct pkg and it downloaded, but I dont see the file anywhere.
Under Lion, you should not install the printer driver directly. Let Apple find it for you via software update.

You basically have to have your printer connected to your Mac (for example, by USB or on your wireless network). Then let Apple find the appropriate driver software for you.

I recently retired from a software & systems engineering / programming career, and can say the Apple world is extraordinary.
Is there a solution for a driver for my Canon Pixma MP500 ? I just downloaded the ( twain driver ) and that got the scanner running. But , now I need the printer to work.
