I have been reading about some issues with the ipad 3.
Overheating when charging
Losing wifi and less speed
Have these issues been rectified?

There is nothing to fix.
Why are so many people complaining about overheating in ipad3 if there is nothing to fix? At least respond by justifying why there is this and possible reasons and safety levels.

None of the new iPads I work with have any heating or WiFi problems. Some units have apparently had problems, yes, but the percentage of total iPads sold is well within the usual problem rates for consumer electronics.
And no, Johnathan Burger does not work for Apple. You will get replies here only from fellow users.

I have also an iPad 3 64GB and do not have any problems with it!
So the new iPad is working great, no problems with charging or Wi-Fi ➕
Best is to buy an 64GB iPad so you will not have to less space!

Do you know how to get gmail contacts. Mine are missing.
I use http://www.soocial.com to sync my contacts with Gmail and the iPad, there is also an App for it.

The app Google contacts. I downloaded the free version 1st then installed the other one. Now I can't delete it.
IF you installed the App then you must can delete it. Did you try to tap you finger on it, hold it til it shake, then tap the x.

I had an issue trying to connect a camera adapter it didn't want to go in. The sd card adapter works like a charm though.

Yes, I have the Camera Connection Kit too, I have three camera's only one works with it, so now I use also the SD cards adapter and that works fine.
