Is there a software fro HP deskjet 1050 printers for osx 10.4.11 PPC

I just bought an AllinOne HP printer model Deskjet 1050 J410 series surprised when setting driver from attached CD not supporting old Macs with Power PC and version 10.4.11Went on P site with no success

Just wondering hwo (and why?) HP is disconnecting these models from their supported software and want to know if there is a turn around ?

Thanks

iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11), firefox 3.6.26

I could print after downloading software using this message from Matt Broughton in an other thread :

The Gutenprint drivers do not support this printer. The HPIJS driver, however, show that they support this printer. You can download all you need at http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/macosx/hpijs. Be sure to install all three packages -- Foomatic-RIP, Ghostscript, and the hpijs drivers.

Mac Mini G4 and Intel C2D; B&W G3, iPad

It's a bit slowly but works with Word and Acrobat documents. I still need to check if scanning is also possible
