Nov 26, 2012 4:27 PM in response to Drinks2004by Appletini6,how is it locked? did you forget your passcode to get in to the phone, is it frozen, does it say your locked out due to entering the passcoe wrong too many times? are you locked out of your apple id for entering THAT pasword wrong too many times?
be specific in your problem and you will get a specific answer.

You will have to restore as new, as your backup will likely have your passcode on it as well. As long as you were using icloud though you will have your contacts, and you can sync back over your music and stuff.
Connect to itunes and then do a hard reset. if you get an alert that you cannot restore because you must first enter passcode, call applecare, they have another type of reset they can instruct you in how to do.

That is not quite correct. If you restore on the last computer the phone was synced to it will remove the passcode. Any other computer it will wipe the phone. But all of that is covered in the link that has been posted several times to this OP. Reading is a wonderful skill.
