If your computer came with 10.6 then the drivers on it are FINE to use, only NEED to use Lion if you have an Early 2011 (even if it came with 10.6.6 or later) as those Macs had never logicboard that 3.0.4+ did not support.

Use Troubleshoot Compatibility Mode wth your 3.0 driver folder - copy it to USB where it can be writen to or to Windows desktop folder.

Naviagate to "BOOCAMP.msi" or "BOOTCAMP64.msi" and run that with Admin privilege and "Compatibility Mode"

My MAC came with LION OSX and is 2012 latest Non-Retina Model.

I have run the Boot Camp setup with Admin Privilage and Compatibility mode with windows Vista .

It neither opens the BootCamp 3.xx Control Panel nor installed any drivers even after showing successful installation and a restart.

When i Click on the BootCamp control panel it also gives error of admin privilage on C:\ Directory something like that :S PLZZZ figure it out for me 😟

By the way I downloaded the Boot camp 4.0 setup from torrent.

2012 = Boot Camp Assistant, drivers 4.04 or later from Lion.

Torrents open you up to possible malware, your torrent client basically also publishes your IP for the world to see and come knocking too.

Control Panel: Boot Camp - Admin error: known issue, does not happen in a Standard account, only in an Admin Windows account so have to have two accounts and "live with" the trouble for now.

Lion Boot Camp Assistant downloads drivers based on Mac, and are specific to model, not 'universal' too.

Yup Thanks for your help.

So the final solution is to get the drivers on a high sped internet connection from the originally installe Boot Camp 4.xxx in MAC and make a USB and then install it in Windows 7 right ? is this the only best option ?

And can you tell me what is the approx size of the drivers ? like 400-500 MB or more like this range ?
