Jul 16, 2012 3:37 AM in response to mandy brownby Ralph Landry1,Have turned on file sharing? You can do that for specific files, file systems and grant access to those users you wish to have access. Turning on admin sharing...you don't say how old your kids are but I would be concerned about granting too much power, i.e., admin powers, to other users...just really opens up your system.
File sharing can be a useful and powerful tool when used with care and understanding of what you are granting with it.

Jul 16, 2012 3:43 AM in response to mandy brownby Barney-15E,If they are in iPhoto, and you remain logged in (Fast User Switching), you can set iPhoto to share out your Library.
They can view your Library in iPhoto, but they can't add to or edit your Library. They can copy a photo from your Library to their own and edit it as needed, or they can use the image in any way needed (attachment to email, embedded in a document, etc.).
The settings are in iPhoto Preferences, Sharing:
If not using iPhoto, you can save all the photos to the Shared folder and every user can access them.
