how to activate turbo boost feature in new mac book pro

you can't.....it comes on automatically when your cpu cores are working hard and need more power.

It automatically comes on when the i7 chip is under it's temperature and power threshold.

not true actually, it turns on when the chip is under it's full capacity; when it IS working hard (being at full power and pretty hot), it will switch OFF turboboost.

In essence, the i7 over-clocks itself when it can (not under stress); and goes back to normal when it hits it's heat and power limit

which is exactly what i just said but in layman's terms and not in some techincal terms that might confuse the op.

I just did a test yesterday using my i7 Quad.

Turbo boost came on when all cores were busy.

Used CPUz to determine when and how fast.

Suggestion - try it yourself and see. then let me know.
