    itunes uses a single flat database for the entire collection. As I understand it.

    It doesn't do incremental backups.. because TM sees the itunes file has changed and so backs up the entire thing every time..

     

    BTW this is why backup to itunes library is so important.. a single corruption.. boomm.. bye bye itunes library.. the dumbness and stupidity of flat database files.. is hardly to be countenanced.
