my ipod is stuck in the apple logo

I was using my ipod touch normally then I put it in my bag while I was going back to my home an once I returned i pressed the home button and it showed only the apple logo, I let it stay like that till the battery got empty and I conected to the charger and it showed again the apple logo. I haved try everything in the trouble secction here but it goes back to the same thing. even conecting it to my PC is not ecognized not even by itunes. Idon't know what else to do because to ask for support in the apple page ask me for the serial number and I can't access it cause my Ipod is not responding. please help me!!!!!!!
