Hi, I'm looking at purchasing an iPod nano fourth generation used, and I'm reading a lot of things saying that the charger for the iPod touch and iPad does not work with it. Is that a load of garbage and will the universal dock work for it? Thano you

It will actually work fine with no adapter. A 1st through 5th gen nano is light and thin enough so that it will stand in the dock without support from an adapter. I do it all the time with my 5th gen nano.
