does anyone know how to turn the fans off for an imac

Fans are turned on automatically when you are using the Mac for a long time or it needs air. You can't turn off them, but do a SMC reset if you have a fan problem

That is NOT exactly recommended, since you will overheat the hardware components of your iMac. Why would you want to?
