iTunes will no longer let me choose songs what to sync onto my iPhone 4, and songs I haven't purchased from iTunes aren't in the cloud, so they do not show up on my iPhone.

Now that I cannot manage music on my iPhone with my iTunes Match enabled, how can I get these songs 'into the cloud' so I can listen to them on my iPhone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. They're not pirated songs

Sadly the only way to do this is to pay for iTunes match other wise you need to rebuy your music through iTunes

My response was incorrect dis reguard but your question should be

Why can't iTunes transfer music to my iPhone?

That isn't my question, because I know why I can't transfer it.

I need to get songs from my iTunes to my iPhone. I have iTunes Match, so I cannot manage my music and all that I can currently add is any song that is in the cloud.

I need help transfering music, not rephrasing my question.

Check to see if any of these songs have the ineligible status symbol next to them (see http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4124).  These symbols would be shown under the heading with the cloud symbol (if you don't see this heading go to iTunes>View>View Options and check iCloud Download).  If they aren't shown as ineligible they should upload to iTunes Match.  Try right-clicking on the songs and selecting "Add to iCloud" to see if they will upload.

When I did that the songs I wish to upload displayed the symbol to indicate it's waiting to upload to the cloud.

What does this mean? I mean it's not like it's actually waiting for anything, it has to have been like that for months.

You might need to try turning off iTunes Match (iTunes>Store>Turn Off iTunes Match), then turning it back on again to see if rescanning your iTunes library when you turn it back on will add the missing songs.

Ah, it looks like that worked. Thanks! =]

    You're welcome.

I tried that, it didn't work. Turned off ITM on my computer, re-synced device, that didn't work. Then I turned off ITM on my device and my computer and synced, still can't transfer ANY music, cloud eligible or not. I have a lot of albums I bought through outside itunes sources that just aren't available to purchase through itunes, and now because of ITM (a service I pay for) I can no longer have them on my iDevices. Nice.

I had the same problem and I've been on this computer for hours. I made sure that I also went in and disabled iMatch from a reacurring payment.

This is absolutely crap. It took away all of my cds that I placed on Itunes.

I went in and shut iMatch off and had to restart and then reload all of my music back into my iphone. What a waste of money.

In Itunes go to your device

    highlight Music

bottom right select autofill from (location)

    select music ..

    and press autofill

this will enable transfer of any music you have on your computer to transfer to your IPhone
