antenna

when i installed the airport card in my emac
the little internal antenna disapeared and can no
longer be used.
i have rigged up a piece of
plastic coated copper wire to the card
this comes out of the door for the cd tray
and regularly gets loose and ceases to function.
can anyone suggest a better solution?
