Q: email display orientation

my email will only display in the portrait orientation, not landscape which is very difficult when I want to type a response. How to I change it to orientate with the ipad. All my other functions orientate to the position of the ipad.

I am using exchange and it has worked previously so I think I must have changed some settings somewhere!
