You have apparently acquired a piece of malware posing as an app, and on Google I have been unable so far to find a workable removable procedure. Can any of you others help?

Hope this helps 🙂

You installed the Conduit spyware. To remove it, select Go Go to Folder… from the Finder menu bar, then copy the following text into the box that opens:

~/Library/Application Support/Conduit

Delete the selected item, if it exists.

Now select Go to Folder… again and enter:

/Library

From the folder that opens, delete the following items, if they exist. You may be prompted for your login password.

Application Support/Conduit

InputManagers/CTLoader

LaunchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist

ScriptingAdditions/ct_scripting.osax

Close the folder. Now select Go to Folder… again and copy:

/Applications/Toolbars

Delete that item. Close the Finder windows you opened. Log out and log back in.
