How to update AppID in Apple Store App?

I recently changed my original AppleID to my new email address. Also changed PRIMARY email address to match. When trying to update Apps from my iPad I'm asked to sign in but the OLD ID shows instead of the new one. I went to Manage my ID and everything looks good there. I'm stuck?

Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap the old ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.

You can also sign in in the App Store and in iTunes. Go to the featured tab in the App Store or the music tap in iTunes, swipe to the bottom of the screen. Your Apple ID is in the lower left corner. Tap the ID and follow the prompts.
