Play .dav file
Is there a plugin for QuickTime that will play .dav files? Or is there a reliable player for Mac that plays .dav files? Preferably for free..

Try VLC which plays almost everything, though I read on another forum it did not work for somebody else.
Otherwise try Perian. You are, however, dealing with a proprietary codec, and a relatively obscure one (at least this is the first I have ever heard abut it) -- I could barely even find .dav support for Windows.
