Keep word/symbols together

Hello,

Is there a way to keep a word together, without using non-breaking spaces or hyphens? For example I want to keep H+ together. I know I could put in a non-breaking space and reduce the fot size of the sapce so the characters appear close together. I would prefer and option where I could highlight the desired characters and then choose 'keep together'. Does anything like this exist in pages.

Thanks

Same problem here. My dates in my documents are all splitted in two lines. There aren't non-breaking slashes too. Actually, there are just "non-breaking hyphen/space".

And, being extremely sincere, actually this ***** in Pages!!!

Three day searching a answer for questions like these and the only one I got (and what seems to be the only one and right answer) is: "there is no such thing like these in Pages". Because of some simple settings like that, Microsoft Word conquered the world in office plataforms and Apple Pages don't.

There's no reason for this automatic-forced "breaking line". How can Apple let dates or anything with slash be splitted? There is no reason at all. And this just happens all time, no matter what kind of character is inputted...

Sorry for the outburst, but this freaks me out for a long time, principally because seems that Apple don't give a **** about it. Sorry, again, for the words.

That's not the point.

Apple largely ignores its users, but it can't ignore bad publicity forever.

I am a strong believer in shining a light on issues. Apple is Apple but when their problems and mistakes are out in the full light of day, even they can't pretend they don't exist.

Given the apologia, craven forelock tugging and cowardice of the Apple media, the best most visible source of information is the very review process that Apple set up itself. Apple actually is quite OK with the criticism, it is the only real way it can keep tabs, from the remoteness of its Cupertino citadel, on what its users think.
