I turned off syncing contacts in iCloud, but I want to know how to turn it off completely...thanks!
EDIT: i went into my itunes, and my iphone was hooked up. i clicked on my iphone, and went under info. the sync contacts box is unchecked. what else do i have to do to completely ensure my contacts won't sync?
If you still have contacts to sync with iTunes to a supported application on the computer, then uncheck the box in iTunes when the phone is selected. However, understand that is the only method to ensure you have a copy of your contacts is to have them sync either with iCloud or a supported application on the computer, should you have a problem with the phone.
Unless you are accessing another email account with the iPhone's Mail app that supports syncing contacts over the air and/or you have Sync Contacts selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, contacts on your iPhone are not being synced.
