Q: 'sim card not installed' in itunes when actived my iphone 3GS to IOS 5 , i've tried so many sim cards to actived but cannot to actived

my iphone 3GS i have just update to IOS 5 but can't actived after istalled IOS 5 ,'no simcard installed' always writen when i've tried actived by itunes

    It's likely that your phone is locked to one carrier, and it had been unlocked by hacking or jailbreaking. When you updated it a "clean" (unjailbroken) firmware image was installed, which caused the phone to be locked to the original carrier.
