M4S2 Video Codec plugin?

I cannot find a M4S2 Codec player quicktime. If anybody knows where to find one please help. Also it would be nice if the plugin was universal.

Intel iMac 2.0Ghz, Mac OS X (10.4.5), 1G SDRAM 256 VRAM

Quicktime can't play the M4S2 Codec.

Here a plug-in for QT:
EX_M4S2 component

You can use VLC media player to play M4S2 videos.

And MPlayer can play it too.

None of these work on my system including those meant to be universal...

The MPlayer and VLC builds aren't universal, they are Mac Intel specific. They only run on Macs with Intel processors, not PPC processors. Can't imagine why they won't run on yours...

MPlayer for Mac Intel

VLC for Mac Intel

You can also force PPC programs to run in Rosetta...
1 Click the application's icon in the Finder.
2 From the Finder File menu, choose Get Info (or press Command-I).
3 Select the checkbox named "Open using Rosetta."
4 Close the Get Info window.

Forcing the PPC components to run in Rosetta results in choppy visualization like I explained in an earlier reply(jumps from still image to still image). I know it is not that my system is just powerful enough because I can do other things that should use more system resources than viewing a simple video. Perhaps I will just wait for a universal update for Flip4Mac. Thanks for all the help
