does anyone know if you need to put down a deposit for the finance option for a macbook?

whom are you financing a MacBook through? Apple no longer makes them. If it is not being financed through Apple, you need to contact the vendor you are purchasing the MacBook from and ask them.
well i had two choices the macbook pro from apple store and the the white macbook just off amazon. but the question was more for the macbook pro from the apple store.
it seems as though if you do it through Apple, the financing is done via a line of credit. It doesn't look like a deposit is required. Read this to clarify: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/finance/instant_credit_page
do you mind if I ask you where you found that page as it is in dollars and im in the uk and I am unsure if the states are different from the uk on their policies?

ahhhh completely missed the bottom part. so basically just need to pay £115 upfront for choosing the finance option?
