Are there any known viruses out for os lion, cause I'm curious because a couple of time i ran into messages that say surf like some random person messaged me from some web site, or messages like you sure you want to leave this webpage?

or is the only way to gey a virus for a mac is if you download somthing?

It's highly unlikely - close to impossible - that you have a virus.

those pop ups that goes on while you are surfing the web can be blocked.

go click on safari, select safari extension, it will direct you to apple website, and download adblock

this will block those advertisement.

if they ask are you sure to leave the page, dont click yes or no, click the red x button on left top corner. or command +w
