Q: "The requested resource was not found" is what comes up when I try to restore my phone. Help!

Try restoring it while in recovery mode.  Hold down the home button while connecting it into your computer make sure the device is off. Keep the home button held down until your phone turns on and says recovery mode.  Itunes should prompt you that a device is connected in recovery mode.  This should work as a workaround for your error message.
