Can't install past 7.2.3

The mac tells me that "this update is not needed" or some such wording are I try to update past Logic 7.2.3. Is there something I'm missing here?

Tech details are Mac 2008 8 core running OSX 10.6.3

Logic Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.3), Mac Pro 8 core / Apogee Rosetta 800
