Email problem on my IPAD

I have two email acc on my ipad , one is work email , the other is a gmail. When I set the work email as default yet when I send any email of any kind it get though my gmail . I already remove my gmail account on my ipad

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 5.1.1

When you write an email just tap the From Emailaddress above and change to the mail you want to sent from.

It must work that way, but you need first to add the Gmail account ofcourse.
