iPhone 4 Gold Circle Grounding for WiFi

I took my phone to a veeeery bad repair shop and they messed up more than I can figure. Anyways, I managed to fix most of the stuff, and the phone is usable again. However, there seems to be a problem with WiFi reception. I replaced the EMI shield (checked for the little ring thingy and all), but WiFi signal was still very poor. So I checked everything step by step - and found what was missing - the golden circle grounding for the WiFi antenna/EMI shield - It's just gone. It's just a clean logic board bellow with what seems to be a very tiny copper wire (less than a mm) coming from the board itself.

Pic is attached of what I am referring to. The board does not seem damaged. Just that golden piece gone. See what I am referring to (in the yellow square)

Thank you all.
