What type of mac laptop cable/cable adapter to use with a Dell 2400MP projetor?

laundry bleach--we have guest speakers that on occasion have mac computers--there vary in types---but do not work with the 2400MP projector. If there are a couple of different adapters or cables--we could get two or three.
We usually do not know ahead of time what type of equipment the speakers are bringing with them.
Okay, so looking at the specs of your projector it appears that it supports input via either S-video or VGA or component video. VGA is probably your best bet, as almost every computer made in the last 10 years has some sort of support for it. Apple computers of course have a number of different connectors but there are adapters that will go to VGA for them. See this page on the Apple store online.

The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody and the Late 2009 model 6,1 and Mid 2010 model 7,1 White Unibody have a Mini DisplayPort.
The Early 2006 model 1,1 through Early 2008 model 4,1s plus the Early and Mid 2009 model 5,2s have Mini-DVI ports.
With MacBook Pros they have a full size DVI port from 2006 through 2008 on the Pros with the aluminum keyboards and a Mini DisplayPort on the Unibody Pros with the black keyboard.
