For clarity (I suspect English is not your native language ) when you say

    It works.

I created a new user, I logon with it.

I opened Mail and it worked perfectly.

I created a mail account and it was the same.

does "it was the same" mean the same as "works perfectly" or crashed like in your normal account?

If it works, then the it is most likely that the problem lies, not with the Mail program itself, but with the settings and data files in your normal account.

Is the console log from your normal account or the new account?

Have you some applications starting automatically when you log in to your normal account? If you have, use the System Preferences/Accounts panel to stop anything from starting automatically, then log out and log in again and retry Mail.

Your system was originally 10.5, I think. Are you running any software that was originally installed in 10.5? And, if so, have you checked for updates or later versions?

Yes, "it was the same" means the same as "it works perfectly".

I also think that the problem lies, not with the Mail program itself, but with the settings and data files in my normal account.

The console log is from the new account: Racso.

I checked my User paramenters and I do not have applications starting automatically when I log in.

Yes, my system was originally 10.5, and I am not running any software that was originally installed in 10.5

    I hope this will help,

    Oscar.

I would take a look at the keychain for the account having the problem. Perhaps run Keychain First Aid as a start.

    Thanks Frank.

I tried to open keychain access and it crashes, every time I tried (create, modify, update, ... etc)

Please see below the beginning of the log I received.

I look forward for your advice.

I can't tell from your post, does Keychain Access crashes as soon as you open it? Or after you try to access something?

If the later have you tried to go right to Keychain Access->Keychain First Aid

This is a bit of a Hail Mary, but try moving the preference file for Keychain onto the desktop.  it's located at /Users/<yournamr>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.keychainaccess.plist, and if you take it out of the preferences folder it forces the app to create a fresh one.  sometimes corrupt plist files can cause weird crashes.  If it doesn't help, you can always restore the old plist.

Yes, you are right.  This is already appearing as something ... "esotheric" ...

I tried, I follow your instructions with the preferences.

I runned Keychain Access and ... bang ! ... It crashed, immediately.

No, I was on vacation.  We know the following:

    1. it's specific to your user account
    2. it's specific to Address book

based on the errors in COnsole (e.g. "Database file is missing: /Users/Racso/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/AddressBook-v22.abcddb"), it looks liek you address book database file is either mising or corrupt.  look in that folder and tell me what's there.

You are right. By now, everytime I tried to open my AddressBook, it is displayed for some time and it quits with the following log (... the beginning of the log) :

    For /Users/oscarfiestas-tejada/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/AddressBook-v22.abcddb

    data, please see below.

Do you need the one in /Users/Racso/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/AddressBook-v22.abcddb ?

Please, let me know if sending all this data does not have security or confidentiality issues ...

Still looks like a keychain problem to me. I would move the entire ~/Library/Keychain folder to the desktop. log out and back in again and see what happens.

You could always move to back if ti doesn't help the problem.

Are you referring to the advice to move the keychain plist file out? If so what I am suggesting is to move the actual Keychain folder out not the plist file.
