I'm trying to import layers that were created as EPS files. I converted them into PSD and TIFF files in Photoshop CS6. FCP is rejecting the PSD files and flattening the the TIFFs. Help!

What version of FCP are you using? It works for me if the files are correctly made in 8-bit RGB and are bitmapped.
I'm using X. The files are 8-bit CMYK. Bitmap is grey/not available in the "Image/Mode" tab.
Which version of X? Files have to be RGB. Make sure all the layers are rasterized.
Perfect. I changed the mode to RGB and it worked. I had already confirmed the layers were all rasterized. Thank you for your help.
