Digital AV HDMI Adapter

I'm trying to connect my iPad 2 to my Vizio SmartTV and get a "not supported" error message on the TV screen. Vizio support is telling me that the adapter must support HDCP to work. Does the following model do this, MC593ZM/A? If not, is there an adapter that does. Thank you.
