adding deleting audible books from iPod touch

After it automatically syncs, go to the Books pane for the iPod in iTunes and check the box that says only sync checked items. The make sure the books you want to remove are not checked. Then click on the Sync button.

If the Audio Books are not in the Books pane, find where they are and do the same thing. I do not have any Audio books.

If you have iOS 5 on the iPod just swipe the book left or right on the iPod's screen and tap on the Delete button. If not iOS 5 you will have to connect the iPod to your computer and unsync the books.

Go to Settings>General>About>Version
