Why can't I upload from iPhoto (8) ?

I just opened a Photobucket account and tried to upload some pictures from iPhoto 8. Unfortunately, in their Browse dialogue box, my iPhoto Library was a greyed icon, not a folder like previous versions (e.g. uploads to Facebook from iPhoto 6). What's gone wrong and how do I change it?
