i have a Magellan roadmate 3045. I want to update the maps on it on my imac. Any suggestions

usually you go to the website and pay for the map updates, and then hook the gps to the usb port.

according to the Magellan website, you can download new software for the content manager that allows you to update from the iMac environment, instead of the windows environment. I haven't tried it yet; I was afraid of creaming my device. Also, I've upgraded to the os 10.7 now.
