Finder will not sort alphabetically

Haven't a clue. AFAICT, all three views, icon, list, and column offer that option. More details and possibly a screenshot or two might demonstrate the issue.

I have the same issue. Finder will not sort aphabetically, and hasen´t done for a long while

Start your own thread and provide the salient details. Computer, OS, which views, and screenshots. Resurrecting an old thread doesn't do the trick.

Sort by Application will give an alphabetic sort. Hold the option/alt key to change Árrange By'to 'Sort By'
