remove windows xp from MAC

How can I restore my Hardrive? I think it was erased when I installed Windows Xp Professional in hopes to use VMWare. Now I can not see the Mac OS

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1

Start up using Command+R and reinstall from your backup.

that did not work and i cant even get internet on the imac to use recovery assistant from apple. I copied recovery assistant to a jumpdrive but dont know what to use to open it

Reboot and hold the Option key down from the startup tone. If the boot manager starts it should give you the option to boot from MacIntosh HD. Select that.
