Q: Our IMac screen is going all wavy and fading...what can we do?

Our iMac screen is having issues...it has lines and fades in and out all across the machine, could this just be dust inside? How do we fix this?

Contact Apple Service, iMac Service or Apple's Express Lane. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you're eligible for onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine.

This particular iMac was purchased new for our active duty military to use in the AMC here in Germany...not sure if ther is an Apple repair station near and we don't hve the AppleCare's protection plan.

It's a hardware issue and needs repairing. The AppleCare protection plan is the cheapest insurance you can get for these machines. If the machine's less than a year old, you can still get it. Sorry, but that's all I can offer.
