Q: I can't get my iPad (3rd g) to pair with my iTouch.

I have tried to pair the iTouch and iPad and they don't seem to recognize each other.  The Bluetooth setting just keep searching.  I need to be able to use the remote where I can't access WIFI.  I need help- soon.  Thanks for any input.
