iphone 4s left in car, 2 hours

Hello,

I left my iphone 4s in the car in 89 degree (outside) temperatures for 2 hours which effected my phone. I held my phone in front of the air conditioning vent while driving and it had reset within 5 min. or less. Will there be any long term or lasting damage as a result?

Thank you very much

I wouldn't worry about it. You might have degraged the battery lifespan a little, but I doubt there would be any noticeable long term problems.

See these Apple docs for more details about heat and battery life.
