Photos Not Syncing in Order

So I have my photos sorted and organized in folders. In some folders, I have subfolders. For example, I have my main folder A, then within folder A I have folders B, C, and D. Previously, all of the photos from folder B synced first, followed by C, then D. I knew where all of my photos were based on the name of the subfolder they were in. Now, the photos from the subfolders are mixed with no apparent sorting pattern. This is incredibly frustrating for me because now I have no idea how to find my photos and I can't figure out how to get them back in order.

I have already taken the photos off my iPod and tried to resync them, with no change. Help?
