Remote does not activate video in my presentation. How can I fix this?

Hitting the arrow button on my computer as if I am moving to the next slide activiates the movie in my presentation so I made the assumption that this functionality would carry over when controlling the presentation with the iphone app. This was not the case. I had to go to the computer and hit the arrow button to start the video. Not the biggest concern but knowing how to start the video from the app would be nice (if this is at all possible).
