Malware attack on Snow Leopard

Some how Maleware was able to change my firewall settings from "Block all incoming connections" To "automaticallay allow signed software to receive incoming connections" I have also ennclosed a strange Google Earth access rights which show a user called "_unknown".


I have run Clamxav and nothing was found. any ideas?User uploaded file

Methinks both your first two issues has to do with installing any software from Google.


They install a root level auto-updater that does some strange things and likely changed your settings so it can work.


You'll need to uninstall all Google software and perform a #8 Reinstall Only OS X method here to get rid of their rootkit.
